	Friday, Saturday, Sunday 28, 29 and 30 May 2010


Liaison; 349 km from our assembly point Claudiuslaan, de Meern, NL to the basecamp in Auvillers les Forges... Highway until Antwerp; subsequently as much a possible following local roads, heading South. 	It's an art center as well, parking our motorbikes in the middle of the atelier next ot the painter's easels..

Dinner in the garden, next to the open kitchen..	Breakfast on the first floor of the house...	with a great view of the garden and the countryside...
		On the road again, for approximately 250 km's of great road. In general the tarmac in France in the French part of the trip is in better shape than it's Belgium connections... but overall; great roads for biking! Not too much traffic, friendly people... Flat countryside; no way... in 3 (basically 1.5 day) we made our bikes climb almost 7,000 meters (6,944 to be precise) and the highest 'pass' was 444 meters. Fun!

Break in Esch... before heading into the clouds, visible in the distance...
	Back in Auvillers les Forges, by now the rain and wind make it far too cold to dine in the garden, Margreet lights the fire in the garden house and prepares another great dinner on her brand new barbecue..
		Sunday... 345km return trip after an good night sleep and another great breakfast.. Not too much pictures, afraid to get the camera and other equipment wet as most of the trip is made in the pooring rain and strong winds..
