Ready to board the ferry at Melbu

Although a tunnel is under construction, connecting the mainland with the Lofoten, you still have to cross the Hadselfjorden from Melbu to the port of Fiskebøl, the 25 minute trip provided us with impressive views...

Following the E10, all the way from Fiskebøl to Å, from the east to WSW into the ocean.

The Sløverfjorden

Today's 200 beautiful kilometers interrupted by a welcome lunch break. 

We've just passed Vestpollen and are looking back over the Austnestfjorden to the north

Norway is a paradise for people who like fishing or eating fish... look at the floating Salmon - farms on the left... After a relaxing drive we reach the most westernly harbour of the Lofoten, the (fishermans) town of Å, a very small village which provides us with some exiting driving...
